You can lose weight without exercise. Are you shocked? I cannot tell you how many people have told me, “I can’t lose weight because I…
So many people struggle to lose weight. I know I used to be one of them until I discovered it’s not as complicated as I thought it was. Turns out my head was just spinning from all the information out there, pulling me in every direction so I couldn’t see straight.
The fact that I’ve lost weight by counting calories is probably the most ironic thing to ever happen in my life. For over a decade I refused to count calories because it felt too restrictive. Every time I attempted to lose weight by counting calories, I’d inevitably get overwhelmed with logging every single bite that went into my mouth…and lose nothing.
Man, weight loss is hard sometimes, no matter how long you have been at it. Change truly is a process, with both ups and downs. It takes time, and mistakes are an inevitable and necessary part of the journey. But after I make a mistake now, I learn from it and move forward. WW has helped THOUSANDS of people lose weight AND keep it off.Perhaps you’re not destined to be one of the thousands of people, and that’s okay! If the program affects you negatively, simply quit and move on. It may not be for you, but there’s something else out there for you – I guarantee it.That’s where I found myself in January, despite 10 on-again, off-again years with WW and hundreds of pounds lost (combining all the loses after pregnancy). Here are my reasons for moving on from the program:
Dear Goal Weight, we need to talk..I have chased after you, and your promises of happiness, peace, and self-acceptance, my whole life. You have always teased and tempted me, and all I ever wanted was you. If only I could reach you, I’d have my happy ever after. I succumbed to your call, crashing into pieces with every failed attempt to attain you. You constantly denied my ticket to happiness by remaining unavailable, so I had no choice but to remain broken, miserable, and helpless.
What’s the right diet for me? Trust me when I say, you have a much higher chance of success if you pick a diet that fits into your current lifestyle and includes the foods you enjoy.
When you’re a newbie dieter, as we all are at one point (or many points!), you might think weight loss is strictly about calories in vs calories out. While that is weight loss in a nutshell, there’s so much more to it! Now that I’m a dieting veteran, having lost 60 pounds myself, I know weight loss like the back of my less chubby hand.
