Six months ago I joined Noom while I was also on WW. I wanted to compare the two programs to see which was right for me. Two months later I walked away from WW to be fully committed to Noom.
Here we go again. Oh the scale, what a mysterious thing you are. Somehow between yesterday and today I lost 2.2 lbs. It cracks me up. Obviously it was water weight, but it is interesting nonetheless.
Yesterday I woke up with the resolve to eat better. My plan was to base my day off of WW, and then log it into Noom. Well, I started out down the right path. Breakfast was an easy choice. At lunch I realized I had the things I needed to make a 2 point pasta dish. I chose this over a turkey sandwich, even though the calories were the same, because of WW.
So why do I always end up back with WW? It’s because the reward for eating healthy (no tracking) is so good, that I eat way healthier on WW. Then I lose weight because I hate tracking, but need tracking to lose weight. When I follow the program and play their little game, I lose weight. Always. Every single time.
Seriously, WW has not been a diet this time because my habits are changing being whole-food plant-based. When you eat real food that has been minimally processed you cut out so much junk food. After a while your body doesn’t seem to crave it so much. Now it’s natural to me to say no to donuts and candy bars… and it’s ONLY been a month!
Sometimes Losing weight can be hard. Just because you joined WW doesn’t mean you will have success. Evaluate your weeks leading up to your weight gain or plateau and learn from it.
