Why I Quit Weight Watchers and What I Do Instead

WW has helped THOUSANDS of people lose weight AND keep it off.Perhaps you’re not destined to be one of the thousands of people, and that’s okay! If the program affects you negatively, simply quit and move on. It may not be for you, but there’s something else out there for you – I guarantee it.That’s where I found myself in January, despite 10 on-again, off-again years with WW and hundreds of pounds lost (combining all the loses after pregnancy). Here are my reasons for moving on from the program:

Noom Update: Week 4

How the heck has it been 4 weeks since I committed to Noom? Although, I started Noom a lot further back than 4 weeks ago, I was doing WW at the same time. I didn’t count that as my time on Noom since my focus was divided between two programs. Then all the holidays happened, and I didn’t really follow much of anything. I gained 5 pounds during the holidays, but life goes on.

On a less depressing note, I lost 1.8 pounds this week doing WW on a whole-food plant based diet! See? It was a healthy rate to lose weight, I wasn’t starving, I ate when I was hungry, and I even chilled over the weekend without tracking to eat instinctively. My instincts work better after 5 strict days of WW because I have been measuring and can accurately eyeball a portion.
